[Closed] Burgtec freehub body !? Help or info needed..

Recently got some hubs LOVE em(well) never realy abuse them to be honest like but now the freehub bodys slightly jumping,like my chain or rings are worn,BUT THERE not.

Sometimes instant pick up is not there also.?
Any PDF instructions to inspect or clean them as i have a day off work LOL...

Pretty much the same as the old Hopes inside, remove the end cap, carefully pull off the freehub assy., clean and grease the components(check the bearings are smooth too)and re-assemble.Did this to a friends recently, he'd been having problems similar to yours since day one, and it had just come back from it's 3rd trip to the factory 2 weeks before, still doing the same.It's been problem free since we actually put some grease in there.

as coatest says but take the freehub off very slowly over a clean rag as not to loose any pawls and springs.clean all pawls,freehub and in the hub where the rachet ring is.check theres no damage to the pawls like the leading edge loosing its edge or damage to the springs also check theres no damage to the rachet ring teeth. dont use grease when rebuilding use a light oil like finish line chain lube this stops a big build up of dirt and stops the pawls and springs sticking.if it carries on after the clean phone up betd/goldtec and ask for dan critchlow(1 part of burgtec) and he can point you in the right direction to getting it sorted
