Do they exist?
I have a genesis fortitude which I love but as the years go on I have better fitting more modern bikes, being over 6 foot, now reach measurements have got longer. But the simple concept still works and there is nothing really like it off the shelf.
I have gone down the custom route before but for something ‘special’ like 853 or Ti etc. Is there such a thing as in the mtb world as Steve Goff in the road world who produces great value custom frames in the traditional style.
Not looking for a super fancy tube set 631 etc is fine and geometry would be simple like the fortitude but a bit longer on the top and head tube. 1 1/8 headtube is fine as it’s fully rigid.

Marino used to have very bad QC, with welds showing holes etc and they are based the other side of the world if anything goes wrong
I know Sick uses them but that doesn't really help the above issues

I think my first one was pretty cheap using the gas bottles at work. However I'm not going to add up what I've spent since....
Will Steve Goff not make you an mtb? Something fairy standard (no special bent tubes) is just the same as a lugless road frame. I know he's done a disc mount for someone.

I was also gonna say ask Steve Goff anyway, he was very approachable and helpful when he did a little alteration on one of my MTB frames.
