Anyone got any inside info or special tips for Budapest in May - interesting stuff to do, places to eat, accommodation etc (B&B/hotel/apartment/hostel)? Trying to keep costs down, so nothing too fancy. Ta.

I quite liked just wandering around the place. Had an enjoyable evening in Szimpla - one of the more famous kerts (bars in abandoned buildings).

Stayed in an appartment just opposite, was great, I'll try and hunt the details...

Public transport is great, easy to use, regular etc. Went out to the sclupture park, quite liked that. The indoor market is good too for some food.

Hope you're not vege....they don't really do that.

Try some unicum. Probably only the once, like ๐Ÿ˜‰

To counter the above, I went in may, it was scorchio ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers for these tips, all. Like the sound of the kerts and baths. Will google NH hotel. Not fussed about low temperatures - be nice if it's dry tho, and sunny would be mint.
