The three year old carbon chainset on my Epic died a few weeks ago when both pedal thread inserts came loose on a ride. Unsure why but suspect the adhesive had just gone off.
Anyway, as it was old and well out of warranty, I wasn't expecting much but I contacted FSA who told me to send it back and was delighted to be informed that they would replace it with a brand new chainset of my choice free of charge!
Just taken delivery of a lovely FSA K Force light double carbon chainset with ceramic BB (£599 RRP). The packaging is the sort I'd expect from Apple with a nice velvety inside!
Anyway, the forums are usually full of negative comments about service so thought I'd share some positive news!
