you're looking for soemthign that either takes in Friston forest (long ride) or Stanmer (probably more doable in a couple of hours).
Once in Stanmer it'll tend to be ride the fire roads and keep an eye out for interesting singletrack turn offs without a local to show you round.
I've not got any gps tracks from that side of town but have a few of stanmer if you want - email me for details.

if you want to extend it carry on along the SDW from Ditchling Beacon to Devils Dyke.

I prefer riding it anticlockwise as I like the ride down from Blackcap to Lewes prison. You could park in Stamner Park if your bringing a car and then if you've any time left get some riding in there.
