So we've got a Panasonic bread maker - had it for years, it gets used 3-4 times a week. Recently (as in the last year or so) it's getting a bit erratic - some loaves turn out perfect, some barely rise at all.
Same ingredients, same cycle each time. I thought it might be to do with mixing (sometimes there are lumps of flour left) so varied the order I put ingredients in the tin, I also tripped and cleaned the bushing for the paddle so it rotates more freely. I even resorted to running the tin through the dishwasher. Some things work for a bit, but no permanent fix.
So is it dead? Would a new tin help?
Cheers ๐
Edit: wrong forum, sorry...
Heater might be getting a bit erratic? If it's not warming in the rise cycle it won't rise as much.
Aha, I hadn't even considered that! I'll check for dodgy connections, thanks...
The joy of Kenwood- you learn all the fun things bread machines can do to **** your loaves.
