2017 will likely be the year of new brakes. I fancy a set of MT Trails but Magura don't recommend sintered pads, which I've always used as the conditions round here are usually foul.
So, am I right in thinking organic pads will last about ten minutes in Pennine mud, or have I got this wrong?

I ride mainly in the West Pennines and only use organic pads.
I don't notice a short lifespan on them particularly, and they work out about £4 a pair bought when there's a promotion at superstar.
