Looking to get my Kona Unit re-sprayed but fancy replacing the old cable guides on the top tube with hose guides/clips.

Yes to both - well, I'm in Glasgow but can either braze them on for you or post you some.
Edit: aluminium? Can't braze that, but can send you some...

Pretty well, apparently - not tried myself but others have.
I've also got some alu ones which attach with little pop rivets.

It's a steel frame so it will be either brazed or tig'd

not really the ones on it ATM are the old type ie outer cable guides/stops

I've just had a count up and got 9 in the garage and can silver solder them if you want - swap you for some beer 🙂

Each one needs a little work with a file to match the diameter of the tube (the raw casting has bits of flash etc to clean off).

What i am thinking is something like this

but with a stop on one side and a cable clamp on the other for the rear gear cable.

I've got a basic setup at home for silver. I usually hold them in position with loop of twisted mig wire then cut it off after soldering.
I take it you'll be using Fastline again for paint? I need to pay them a visit sometime (need quotes for some boring work stuff and a couple of frames to powder before the Bespoked show in April).
Yip fastline again, the guy seems honest and good value.
RM - I don't know of anything like that, but shouldn't be hard to make one - it's possible to get steel under-BB guides so could get one of them and braze on the stops as needed.
