I need to replace the ISIS bottom bracket on my kona, is it possible to replace with a different standard and if yes what would fit?

As long as you don't go bb30 or get involved in boost, anything will work with your frame. Although you'll have to ensure your bb and chainset match.
If you don't want to change chainset you'll need an isis bottom bracket.
