I have a five year old opened bottle of 5.1 brake fluid, will it have gone off, bottle was sealed up tight but was last used five year ago?

There cannot be that much water in the air that was in the bottle

I'd also say it would probably be fine. The amount of water in the air trapped in the top of that bottle will be tiny.

For the cost of a bottle I'd just grab a new one from halfords
