After long illness and getting the ok to get back on a trail bike i've decided to treat myself to a new bike but unsure which of these two, any opinions or experince would be appreciated. Or indeed a completely different choice, I would prefer to stick to around 140-150mm travel.

I'd go for the Yeti. Having ridden a carbon LT2 the head angle is well steep and outdated IMO. I'm amazed they haven't slackened it up yet like other manufacturers.

For that amount of travel you should be looking at a 575, not a 5.
