Keep an eye please folks, my long serving bike has been nicked from the garage overnight. My wife's bike has gone too, along with my trainers, pads, helmet, camelbak, bike stand, toolbox and spare wheels.

Bastards.
Ps is that an Integrale?
whereabouts in Stoke mate? and what were the circumstances of the robbery?
Any idea how they identified you had bikes worth nicking?
Yes that's an integrale, good spot! Thankfully they didn't touch that.
I'm in Endon so a long way from the centre. Don't know how I was targeting but they were definitely after the bikes, they left most of my tools but took nearly everything bike related. They loaded everything through the hedge into a waiting van. Very little damage done, somehow they prised the electric up&over open and just walked in. Security light has been turned to not go off but no real signs of attempts to get in.
I sometimes have the garage doors open if I'm working in there and you can see in from the road but you'd be doing well to see any detail.
Where should I be looking for the bikes? So far have looked at ebay and gumtree.
I should also add I don't really think the bikes are worth nicking, my Superlight is 2003 and I think the GT is 2006. Don't get me wrong, the Superlight is a great bike and I'll miss it but I wouldn't have thought it would have much value, a few hundred quid maybe?
Bastards! Sorry to hear about it. Local Facebook buy / sell groups are a good place to look also.
I saw a super light go up for sale on FB at the weekend but I'm fairly sure it's not the same one, I checked it over and there's too much difference. It's up for £400.
Will keep an eye out.
I've found this one which went up yesterday which has a scary number of similarities but mine wasn't even stolen then! It would have been a very quick strip down and rebuild to get it back up on ebay that quickly.

It's the same frame, shock (non-standard), brake hose adapters and handle bars. Everything else is different though and I'm sure mine is more scratched, I was suspicious for a while though!
Find that bike is a useful website for pulling in ads from the main websites (not fb). I have alert set up for the brands of our cross bikes stolen in the summer. Sadly no sign yet!
There's a superlight in the classifieds & the seller didnt know what size it was until they went and checked, which sounded odd to me but could be perfectly innocent of course
That one was offered in classified last week, so its not the nicked one
Phew!
ahsat, thanks for the link. I've added them to the site but it's quite scary the rate at which bike are being added on there. Not many tagged as reclaimed sadly...
I did some reading into it after ours got stolen, and apparently a bike is nicked in the UK every ~60 seconds!! 😯 😯ahsat, thanks for the link. I've added them to the site but it's quite scary the rate at which bike are being added on there. Not many tagged as reclaimed sadly...
I just get the email alerts come in once a day with everything marked Cannondale and everything marked Rose (of which there aren't many of the latter) in case they pop up on eBay etc without having to check all the sites separately. Gives me something to do on the bus at least! Though after 3 months, I am loosing hope!
I'm still getting daily updates from FindThatBike three years after having my bike stolen! I don't suppose there's much, if any, hope of it turning up, although one never knows... There was that Jones which was recovered after five years!
I do hope your bikes turn up soon.
