Weekend adventure from Glencoe ski resort to far end loch Etive   A beautiful glen.  But take a machete. It’s a bit overgrown which is a pity as it would make for a good technical xc trail on the Argyll side. Pity Inverness did not follow through on the path  to the road. But still makes for an adventure.

Yup, did it last September. Through from Connell station, and over the devils staircase into kinlochleven

Is that giant midge net your luxury item?

Jam bo: excellent. In a way still think it is a good route just not the norm. Not that I’d do it again any time soon.  Midge net is not the luxury item now. Born out of necessity. Wife was a bit dubious about my contraption but changed her mind once could eat in peace.

one of my most favourite places in gods own country, scattered my dads and brothers ashes at buachaille Etive mor so the place holds a special place in my heart.
