I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of posting a bike overseas, and if so what services you used and how you found them.
Last time I took a bike on Ryanair, it cost £120 and they lost it for 3 weeks rather than delivering it on holiday, so am wondering posting it out in advance looks cheaper, and perhaps more reliable?
Going to a residential address of a friend so no faff with hotels etc.

I posted a frame to Denmark with parcelforce if that helps. It was fine.
Will cost more than the excess baggage of taking it though, maybe don't use Ryan Air?
