Anyone got any good recommendations for a summer bike holiday company? We have done portes du soleil, molini, bc, les arcs and fancy a change. We're after some technical all mountain riding, mountain views, fully catered and the odd lift. prefer loam/alpine trails over volcanic terrain. We don't mind pedalling but it's about the downs mostly. a la trail addiction style of break. Must be less than 8 hours flight as it's only a week.
Verbier we are considering, but wondered if anyone has any recommendations elsewhere? Norway, Eastern Europe for example?
Went to Slovenia last year with Cycleactive , they use Bike Nomads , superb remote farmhouse accommodation , home cooking , mid ride feasts ( not kidding ! ) very friendly locals . Good mix of riding , one day riding UNDERGROUND in a disused lead mine really surrealn. Typical Alpine riding you will earn the downs ! Last day went to a newly opened flow trail just on the Austrian border . Petza ? mountain check out the footage on You Tube longest flow trail in Europe it was hilarious !
That's Petzen mountain , some good headcam footage on You Tube , lift assisted shits n giggles ! If you go Ani head honcho at MTB Nomad will warn you to check your speed on the Flow Traill all too easy to get carried away ! ( He's a top man as well hard working not just guiding, driving but helping with the food as well ! )
BasqueMTB? Love every minute of the holidays that Doug puts together. However, don't hang about, I believe he's filling up fast even though he's expanded a little this year.
Have you thought about Bike Verbier? 😆
You should.

+ 1 for Bike Verbier, cant wait to get back their.
We've done Les Gets and Morzine under our own steam, then again the next year, then we did The White Room, then Trail Addiction, then St Foy under our own steam then Andorra with Singlwtrack Safari then The White Room. We've booked for the White Room for this year too.
My vote is for The White Room just based on our actual experiences. Top notes being great guiding, food, crack, beer, wine, cost, chalet and the fact the new chalet is exactly one bottle of Jaggermeister away from the nearest Supermarche, by van.
I've done the Alps a few times but last year went to Portugal and loved to!

Sierra cycling in the Andalusia mountains , very laid back , nice accommodation , great restaurants away from the main sea front IVE been a few times now
Used to get the 0600 flight from stansted and was cycling in the mountains at 2pm
Spicystealth - thanks for the recommendation although we are closed in Summer (July and August). Filling up fast this Spring and Autumn:-).
Stunning singletrack rides with plenty of bus uplift during the day & fantastic après-bike on the coast at night.
