Went to ride White's + Skyline final descent with a buddie. Travelled all the way 200 miles, took bikes from the car and found out that while transferring my bike from a car to his I forgot to take my seatpost-saddle. On my behalf it was an epic fail. No way would we travel back for that piss of xxxx.
I know I did look like a proper cock infront of my buddie, but Skyline shop rescued me by lending me seatpost and saddle from one of their rental bikes. I think was it a weeekend, I would have to rent the whole bike for the day but as it was Friday lady fortune did smile my way.
Therefore I would like to big up helpfull staff at Skyline, and say a -Big thank you guys, you've made my day !
Happenned to me similarly. I brought a brand new Thompson post and borrowed a 'test' WTB saddle from them for five or six weeks once. They are a good bunch.
