I need to buy 2 or 3 new bike carriers. It looks like I will have to get wheel off ones due to space limitations. I also have a mix of bikes to transport with Boost, 15mm through and QR.
What is the carrier de jour?
Have seen Thule Thuride and Kuat Trio that might fit the bill. The Thule reviews seen a bit scathing, especially on the flexing of the forks and marking the maxle.
The Kuat seems to get good reviews but I cant for the life of me find a video or image of how a through axle fits.

Anyone offer any personal experiences?

I don't think Kuat are in Europe at the moment, so I would worry if something broke.

Ordered from Jenson USA. Will see how they go when they turn up. Fingers crossed for trouble free ownership.

I've had a couple of the Pendle fork mounted carriers for the last 7ish years and they've been excellent. You need a different adapter/mount for each hub type though and I don't think they currently do a boost mount.

*edit: Looks like they're discontinued as there's a new model coming!

I've got a Thule Thru-Ride and it's been brilliant. The clamp is bare metal so I guess it would mark the axle if you are a bit careless with it. Howeverย 6 months in and my axles are in great shape... and even if they were marked, what does it matter? They live inside your hubs!

I've recently got a new van though, so haven't got any need for mine any more. Looking to sell the whole carrier and roof bar set up from my Focus. Let me know if you're interested and I'll pm you some details.

Cheers

@Pinetree- Postage to the Antipodes might rule that one out but thanks for the offer.
