I'm planning on camping for the whole weekend plus a day either side.
I want to spectate, film and maybe ride. Should I bike between the stages or just walk? I want to get to the best viewing spots.
I think you'll need to bike unless you can walk very fast, I'm planning on riding between stages anyway. Based on watching rallying, it might take quite a bit of organisation and travel to catch the fastest riders at each stage.
If you walk, it'll be a long walk...
If you can get camping at GT that'll probably be the best compromise, but once the route is published we'll be able to see where the runs are along the Tweed Valley.
Hi D53, if you come down to the Expo event village on Tweed Green, you will be able to get lots of info. And if you want to volunteer to help for a couple of hours, even more info. http://tweedlove.com/
The local campsites are in the above link. Although the one at Lauder is too far away. I'll be the one at the expo village being [s] shouted at[/s] advised by Mrs ivnickkate.
