I am after a base layer to wear under body armour on hot days. I have some Canterbury ones that I use most of the year round but they get a little toasty on hot days.
I prefer the tight fittings ones generally.
Any recommendations?
sat here post ride in an aldi bamboo base it's ****ing lovely so soft and comfy.
On one merino 160g, warm in the cold, breathable in the hot. Terrible customer service, great products (most of the time)
Merino would be awful under armour, it just soaks the sweat up. Craft and pearl izumi do decent cooling base layers.
Rab Aeon. Just about the thinnest base layer you'll find.
Under armour heat gear works well and keeps your gut in. Bonus! You can get ones designed to go under cycling jerseys in hot weather. Try prendas, dhb, craft or just browse wiggle/crc

Kooga from Sport Pursuit. Not silly money and mine have done the job perfectly on long road rides. They can be tight and need a helper to get them off.
