I'd imagine they're sh*te bikes taken in part-exchange by a shop.

Mostly tat, it seems, but a lot of basic bikes many kids, and those without much money, would be glad of.

Bit greedy, to ask money for them, though. Surely donating them to charity would be better.

Uplink with the type of terrain /riding we do up here they would be no good they would fall to pieces in no time . They would be better suited to the rolling hills of southern England.

bomberman, RudeBoy, those same charities would be equally interested in the contents of every branch of Lidl, Aldi, Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Waitrose etc. But, here's the thing....they're businesses, they're there to make money, so their contents are "for sale". Geddit?

No, I know people need money, but it would be nice, is all I'm saying.

It's a pile of scrap, really, though, and probably not worth £800.

Appears to be on sale again at £675.00. How bargaintastic is that!

seen a few of those recently

small independent bike retailers going out of business. the kind of bike shop few of us will ever go to as they rarely go above the level of a saracen with RSTs. shame really, they always look kinda natty from the outside

It would cost you more to store repair and ship them than you would ever make in profit on that lot

i didnt mean the owner could just give them to charity, but it would be feasible for a charity to buy that lot up and take it to rwanda/ africa to make some little 13yr old's daily 6 mile journey for water a bit easier. thats why we give money to these charities.

Would be good for some inner city bike building projects I do but most of the bikes normally get donated by the police.
