[rant]ordered my voucher 3 weeks ago and it's not turned up yet despite my accounts department paying instantly. This means the bike i wanted is now sold out at the distributor (cannondale caad 9 tiagra) and I'm either going to have to wait a couple of months for the 2010 version (and stump up another ton for the privalege) or get something different.[/rant]
You should've paid for the bike up front and got a refund when you had your voucher, or at least put a deposit on it.
yeah, should have indeed. Bloke in the shop phoned cannondale at the time and said they've got plenty in stock and they expected to for the next month...
dude its the same everywhere - phoned up one day for a certain bike - the company had 46 of them and even said - dont think we will run out soon....
phoned back 3 hours later - all gone !
When ever I get an out of stock issue, I always ask for the one up (or next years model) for the same price almost always works else I just go elsewhere, in which case the lose.
