Now the evenings are properly light it seems I can manage to forget it still gets dark. I'm looking for a good back up light solution. Mostly for my town bike. Two options I'm considering: little lights to stick on my helmet and just leave there, not ideal as I sometimes ride hatless 👿 or some small light that I can bolt to the bike and just leave on it all the time. Does anything like that exist, needs to be held on well and not stand out to a potential scrote? Doesn't need to throw out a huge amount of light as it'll just be round the city.

Lezyne Femto's are dinky little things that kick out an unreasonably large amount of light. They're well made little things, and as cheap as chips

I have Rolson flashers. Generally cost £2.99 on eBay or in TK Maxx.
Single LED, held on with a little elastic loop and are tiny. They work well and easy to keep in your bag or tailpack

They do a very simple light set at Aldi/Lidl occasionally.

For the princely sum of about £3!

I have a few sets and always have a set in the back pack for just in case.

- I think On one have some similar all year around.
