My new Canfield Brothers finally arrived today.
Built up with a few old bits that still have a bit of life left in them and a few new bits.

First impressions is it passed the wheelie the length of the street first time test. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Rather looking forwards to trying this out tomorrow night.

Comments about the [s]grass[/s] water welcome.

Looks like fun. Is the OD of the trax fatty a fair bit bigger than the WTB or is it just the photo? Be interested to hear thoughts of + relative to normal 29er.

Nice bit of kit that, what size is it?

It's one of only a few B*+~ bikes i've seen which look in proportion. ๐Ÿ˜‰

What do you think of the traxfatty on the front? I thought it'd be more of a rear...

cheers Stu, as you have access to a N9, can you get the B+ wheels you have with those tyres in there?
Also, how does the B+ size compare to a wide set of 29ers?
interested to here.
cheers

The Trax is a little bigger than the Trailblazer but not a massive amount.
I'll tell you what it's like after i've ridden it.

Birchy.
It's a large.

I have already tried the wheel in the N9 and it fits but only just. You also have to have the sliders as far forward as they'll go as there's more room there.

The QH will be staying as it's my singlespeed.

I thought about the EPO for a long time and the conclusions I came to were.
It's lighter than the Yelli- Good.
It's got an integrated headset-In my eyes bad.
It looks great-Good.
It's not drilled for a stealth dropper-Bad.
The rear rotor seemed to sit very close the inside of the chainstay and the test bike was quite scuffed there already-Bad.
It's roughly double the price of the MK2 Yelli- Not great.
Though it seemed to ride nice it just didn't seem different enough to justify the extra cash.
I must be getting sensible in my old age. ๐Ÿ˜•

Just a short ride last night.
Playing around with the tyres pressures ATM.
Rear feels really good and smooths out a lot of stutery stuff.
There seems to be a fine line with the front between bouncing and self steering on hard surfaces but I'm 99% there.
The slight drop in BB height has made it feel even more stable.
No problem with pedal strikes either.
Seems good so far.

Any reason for not going with the fatty on the back?

A very good reason yes.

It doesn't fit with that frame and rim combo.

First impressions of the Trailblazer are good as a rear though.
Grips a lot better than you'd think from looking at it.
