There is award of £200 for help me to find my bike. So please, if you have any information, which will help me to get my bike back please contact me.

Orginal tyries have been changed to Shwalbe Marathon Plus 700x32. There were almost new.

I put also self-sealing tubes.

The bike was bough through Evans Cycles, so it should still have their logo, if not removed.

One of the velve cover was green.

There were few scratches on the main frame on the TREK sign.

The orginal back red light has been removed and replaced with proper, flashing.

Orginal bell has been also removed (it was not very responsive) and replaced with new one, which was attached with a blue wire (my own idea), so it looked a little bit strange. However all those items could have been changed and also replaced by new owner.

Computer was installed in the middle of handlebar, but it did not have a small sensor on the wheel (I still have got it - that is what I have left.......after him)

Please help.

There's nothing wrong with the picture, I reckon a pixelated bike should be pretty easy to spot

Hope that helps, also perhaps saying where it was taken from might be useful. Rather unfairly, I will have to note that your post is very similar to those ebay/ gumtree ads selling stolen bikes.

Anyway I'm off to the seedier side of the internet to please my orginal bell 😯

Hi, Thanks for putting the picture right:-)

I did have a insurance, but unfortunately with Cycleguard. I bought special lock from gold series, Gold tatcham approved, but they told me that I should have approved by Sold Secure silver at least. So, let it be the warning for everyone, do not use special cycle insurance. Their restrictions are so wide, that getting money back is like playing lotto.

I supposed, it is the way, they make money, relying on naive customers. The insurance cost me £133. I expect from them money back for rest of 9 months, however if you do not ask you do not get. The government should introduce the new low for thives like them t orufund money straight away. I bet, that most of cyclist after their bike was stolen do not ask about refund...They are to much in pain to worry about things like that. Please do, do not let them make business on you.

Sorry, I wrote to much, but the whole thing is very fresh for me...and I just do not know what to do. I still have to pay loan for the bike... So the thieves make my live really miserable...

I think I'd be taking that one up with an insurance ombudsman complaint

Adding an email address might be a start.
And of course you could have been mistaken about the lock...it "could" have been an approved one after all.

Hello, I did sent a complaint to Ombudsman, so I am waiting for their replay.
Regarding Reward for TREK XO1 my e-mail: skyela2@hotmail.com and my mobile is: 07771993782. The bike was stolen on the 27th of August from the front of the building Brentoford Leisure Centre at Chiswick between 11am and 2pm.
I noticed, as long someone who wants to buy a second-hand bike makes an effort and google the frame number they will know within seconds that the bike was stolen. So it should became a rule for everyone to check the frame. This way we can cut thives business.
