Think you can also get Viewranger on the iPhone.

Can't say how well it works on the iPhone but I have it on a Symbian S60 Samsung i8510 and it is as much of a GPS as I need.

Anquet for MAC OS X is free. What I really wanted was something on my 'puter. The fact that I can combine it with my tellingbone is a bonus.

A double bonus is I still have access to the Lake District map I was using in Beta testing. Woohoo.

What really annoys me is that the maps I've bought in Anquet on my PC can't be transferred to my phone!
That and the app being £20 is a bit excessive! What do you get for the £20? Does the app come with map credit or is it literally just the app?
At the moment I'll be waiting for them to link the iPhone app with the PC version before I put my hand in my pocket!

You get some maps with the app but I am not sure which ones.

Just downloaded it but unfortunately it is Intel only. Bugger, another useful bit of software that won't run on the Powermac...

Digital OS mapping however you get it is expensive.

Which is annoying, as it's free online, just not offline.

it's free if you download it by torrent.
