Having come to terms with the fact that I'll soon be joining the Carradice saddlebag owners club *thumbs up*, it suddenly occurred to me that I might also be powerless to resist the lure of a Brooks.
I vaguely recall my Saracen Conquest from the early 80's having a sprung version, but could be mistaken.
Can anyone confirm or deny that the honey leather is softer than the brown version? That'd be sweet as having to go through an overly extended break-in period sounds like a pain in the ass.
Next thing you know I'll be trying on a pair of Dromartis.
I wouldn't say there is a huge difference in break in period between brown and honey. The black ones are definitely harder though.

I have always preferred the honey pot to the brown ๐
The brown is tighter and therefore harder to break in. Oh saddles sorry;) my black one is lovely and comfy and didn't seem to take too long
