I use everytrail to log every ride. Got a record of how much riding I manage but more usefully, it means I can refind any good stuff I've found.

It also automatically uploads pics I take which means that I can easily link them here, etc without having to manually upload them anywhere else.

Oh and I can download OSM maps to the phone so I don't need a data signal if I'm out and want to look at a route.

And MM Tracker Free allows me to upload my Memory Map OS maps to my phone and look at them for similar reasons.

And finally, the phone app is quite useful if I break myself/my bike/etc ๐Ÿ™‚

Thurman,

Are you looking for iphone or android apps?

I have asked on another thread about recommendations for mapping and route tracking apps for android, but didn't get any replies!

MemoryMap (on android so cheap) is great for last minute route changes/bail outs.

Cyclemeter logs more data about your ride than I could ever hope to go through, and I love it. I also use Memory Map to download and plan routes. Would echo the point about it being helpful for last minute bail outs or route changes, and has been invaluable in making sure I'm never (properly) lost.
