£8 a go so not bad price wise.  This is the first time I've replaced them, and looking yesterday, they are pretty drastic - I'm embarrassed to say.

Or anything better for the price?

Yes, Uberbike Race Matrix.

By better, i'm assuming you mean worse, right?

Not tried the Fibrax ones yet but the race matrix and sintered Uberbike ones have been fine for me so far on my Aeris.

What's wrong with them?

I was just umming and ahhing between them and organic/semi metallic pads as I realised I'm still running last winters sintered pads which explains why it sometimes feels like I've been trying to slow down since last winter coming into some corners!

Never had a problem with the Racematrix. This code was working earlier for 20% off UBER20

They are terrible compared to OE sintered Guide pads?

£7 for a set of Uberbike, of £15 for a set of SRAM pads, which in my experience last 3/4 times as long, don't go mushy when they get hot, don't howl when they get wet & are of a consistent thickness.

They arn't however, quite as rubbish as their tubeless sealant however, that's really bad!

Is that a specific rant at the race matrix pads or uberbike in general, I've got their sintered pads at the moment and they're fine, if a bit low-friction (but seriously long lasting).

Moot point anyway, they've sold out so it's organics.

I went from Sram branded sintered to Uberbike and didn’t really notice too much difference personally

I've found uberbike race matrix howl in the wet so will be trying something else when I've worn them out.

Tried the Race Matrix, Semi metallic & sintered, all similar. The sintered I feel were the best as they did have that weird spongy feeling. I have an Uberbike brake hose on one of my bikes which is great, just a few of their products suck 🙂

The only aftermarket pads i've tried which have been great were SwissStop, but then they are more expensive than OE.

Anyone used the Fibrax/Bird SRAM Guide specific pads as per the OP? I've also been eyeing them up
