Are all road skewers an equal diameter?

I was under the impression they were until today when I received a pair of titanium Mt Zoom skewers which are ever-so-slightly thinner than the standard Fulcrum pieces that came with my wheels (Fulcrum Racing Zeros).

Is anyone able to shed some light? Is it going to matter once they're tightened up?

All equal (outside of specialist applications) but, like anything, there are manufacturing tolerances and differences from machine to machine etc.

As long as you still get good engagement between dropouts and axle it shouldn't make any odds once tightened.

Won't matter at all. Good choice too, best lightweight skewers I tried by a good way. Only thing that comes close is the Tune AC16, but they're about 5 times the price, and they fell apart!
