Can you complete the 2 surveys on here if you haven't already please

http://southamptoncycle.wordpress.com/

Basically I want a bike play area and everyone seems to be in favour, in fact they are asking me to make my plans bigger. They want as much evidence of demand for such a facility as they can get.

They are keen to make the Sports Centre a destination rather than somewhere you ride through. When reading the description remember that despite all the worthy words and family friendliness, this is still basically a play area for me because I am fed up of the ones we build in Lordswood getting flattened.

Done.

Why not go mad and ask for full on trail center

Easier to scale down and keep everyone happy , rather than find out after the event more was possible.

Just a thought

Done. Good luck and look forward to be able to take my 4 year old there sometime in the near future.

Whereabouts is the proposed site? Afraid I can't work it out. Is it near Lordswood? I know where that is on a map, although never been. Lordswood looks easily accessable so I would visit, but if it involves going further into Southampton I doubt I would visit.....

It is right next to Lordswood and the Golf course. From the football pitches at the bottom of the hill there is a tarmac path up towards Lordswood. It would be on the left as you look up the hill

Full Bike Park are phase 3, 4 and 5

Done.

I'm fairly new to the area actually and haven't been able to find much good riding around here, this would be welcome.

Biscuit - If you want a quick tour of Lordswood at the weekend I can show you some of the highlights. Enough to string a couple of hours of riding together. Post on here Friday if you want to.

Done, good luck with the planning - Southampton could do with something as it's pretty lacklustre for riding otherwise (excl Lordswood that is)
