So I'm heading N to Yorkshire and was wondering if anyone could recommend a fairly big day out? 5-8hrs, plenty of climbing, with some excellent dh sections would obviously be on the wish list. Not worried about food stops just need some local knowledge.

Any suggestions greatly received.

Cheers

P

Check Muddybums out, they have some good routes in the Dales and on the Moors, you can always tag one ride onto another if you're after a full day job.

Looks interesting, do yo know what it's like when it's been raining a fair bit, boggy or does it drain well?

It tends to be boggier on the tops of the Moors, the Dales tend to drain a bit better, saying that it's raining up here now so you're gonna get blathered where ever you go, so I wouldn't worry!
