Seeing as I'm getting a reasonably nice set of wheels and they come set up for tubeless including valves fitted, I might give tubeless a go for the first time.
As a bit of a rim dinger, I ought to protect them. Nukeproof rims, thought I might try Nukeproof protectors, or is it just much of a muchness?

I've tried four types and the Nukeproof was the worst insert. Went baggy quickly and not that protective.
I would probably go Cushcore trail or Vittoria airliner. Or maybe try Rimpact Pro.
Tannus is ok but not as protective. Currently on Cushcore Pro but it's heavy and a bit dead feeling, will depend on your weight and tyre volume mind.
