Been looking for some reviews online but not found much.
I just want a pack with a decent amount of water - lobo holds 3 litres.
Enough space for a spare tube, my mini tool etc.
Seems to be the ideal pack for me.
Anyone got one ?
Ive got one really like it although i wouldnt fill it to 3 litres as it would be a bit bulky and wouldnt leave much room in the rest of it. I have an inner tube, multitool, co2 inflator and phone wallet in it no probs. usually carry about 2 litres of water max
I have what is effcetively the snowboarding version of the Lobo.Just means it has an insulated drinking tube, other than that its the same.
I find its the prefect sized pack.It will take a spare tube, pump, tools and a few bars.I have manged to cram a waterproof in too.
Mine is 5 years old now and looks hardy worn.Ideal pack, really all you need.
So if you fill it to 3 litres can you get anything in the rest of the pack ?
i usually brim mine and still find room to put stuff in it. pump and tube goes behind the mesh, patches, levers, chain splitter and multitool go in the bottom pocket, and keys in the top one.
a good little pack.
I used to have a Lobo, but found it to be too small. It was fine to fill the bladder and then put a tool and inner tube in, but nothing more. In the end I upsized to a Mule, which gave me the extra couple of pockets for a marginal increase in size, and it's really spot on.
I use a lobo ideal storage space with phone size pockets ,pump pocket on side, plenty of fluid and draw strings for a winter pulley which stays put well too.Even has a natty little clip in main storage area to attach your keys stopping them falling out whenever you open her up .Best small bladder with extras Ive used.Ive never lost anything and always manage to find kit quickly unlike with some others. If you dont take a full garage worth out on every ride youl be well happy !!
I've had one for about 5yrs now. It's my 'summer' pack. Plenty of water and room for a couple of tubes, tools, snacks, phone, and even a lightweight jacket, if you're creative.
I own a Mule too, for when I need to carry a bit more (full day out, changeable weather, etc)
Got one for Christmas and have been great so far. Most of my rides are 2-3 hours, not all day epics, so I tend to put the full 3 litres in, a couple of tubes, multi-tool, tyre levers, phone, keys and maybe a lightweight waterproof in the expandable outer pocket if it's looking dodgy out. Well designed, well made, comfy. Happy punter here ๐
Had one for years & as said, it's a good summer pack. As soon as you need to get a water proof in there, it gets a bit tight.
The only problems I've had is the mesh on the side has ripped.
Got a Dakine Drafter now.
got one, and use it all the time. Tend to only half fill the bladder, but have brimmed it before. Pump and banana and maybe a power bar go in the mesh OK, and if half filled, I can even stuff a mini waterproof in there.
Water volume doesn't affect the space in the 2 pockets at all. So Tube, Multitool, patches, quicklinks, levers, all fit in the main pocket, plus another banana fits round the tube nicely. Phone, cash, another power bar/gel in the top.
GPS, Camera go in my jersey pockets normally.
Ace little pack imho for those days where you don't need the kitchen sink, but do need the 3l water capacity.
Have a Mule NV for the big days out when I need to take maps, waterproof, lunch, ...
