Girlfriend doing her nut about bikes. These look nice. http://www.cycloc.com/
Was wondering how it would work on the cables running on top tube though. And all the blurb pics are with road bikes , not mountain bikes. Anyone use one?

I looked at that - it looks nice but £60 for a plastic bucket, when you can get one from B&Q for £1 is ludicrous!

Why don't you get a £1 bucket from B&Q and then prove to us that it can in fact be made into a suitable bike storage device, that both works and looks good like the Cycloc?

My girlfriend would like my bike to be out in the garden with the old buckets. Hence the trying to bling up the old bike on the wall
But yeah, in the end I thought 60 quid is too much. Been down to Halfords and got a fold away mount of 9.99.

i actually thought you parked your bike inside it when I first saw it given the price and still thought it was too dear 😯

😆

Clearly this is not possible, and I do think it is a clever design and wanted 2 for my garage. However, essentially it is a piece of injection moulded plastic (like a bucket), which must cost pennies to make?

Ahh but you have forgotten the greenwashing markup 😉

of course what you forget is that like any injection moulded piece of plastic that costs pennies to make, the mould was probably far more ****ing expensive than you have any idea! 😉
