I'm putting together a Ragley Trig build and judging by all the water plus mud & muck on the roads from field wash off, mudguards would seem a good idea.
I went for 700cc wheels and Maxxis Receptor 700x40 tyres (officially as wide as I should go).
Am I likely to be able to squeeze in mudguards? I'd be interested to know if anyone's running similar.
Anyone?
It'd be nice to get something set up if possible as the roads are pretty mucky. I'm not sure if it's doable though.
700x45mm tyres on mine (rims on the narrower side tho).
With a Gravelhugger and Win Wing.
I run 700x38c Panaracer Gravelking SK with SKS Speedrocker mudguards. Plenty of room…should fit a 40c tyre in without a problem.
