pretty sure I'm gonna be getin me a P7 frame to build up and wonder if its worth going for a Talas or saving the money and going for a 140 float.

Yeah I did, may have been a 2008 Talas though can't remember, not much differance I'm sure. Any would suggest it depends on what your riding? If it's all about the downs then Float 140 would be fine, but personally I liked to be able to wind it down for the ups and general xc stuff, front end can be a bit bouncy if at 140 all the time IMHO.
