i am saving up towards a new bike of some sort and am being drawn to a cx multipurpose drop bar bike that i can ride on or offroad on.
have just seen the above bike and it does look very nice and very reasonably priced also at £650 http://www.marinbikes.com/gb/bikes/description/2017-nicasio [img]

being a steel marin is also a plus in my book as my first real mtb was a marin eldridge grade 1992 ht.
i feel that i could build it up to be a really nice bike
what do you think about them?

what do you think about them?
As someone who's had quite a few Marins over the past 20+ years, I think Marin lost the plot several years ago and still haven't found it.
