I've walked it, which you'd be doing a lot of.
I can give you some options later on, once I've cleared the work decks.

Actually, the Skalderskew/Grike option adds a lot of distance, so unless xc is your thing, plan A. It'll be a hike from the valley to the top at least.

Mmmm, I think i can imagine it. Boulder fields that'd make Chris Akrigg wince?
The run down looks OK as long as it's done in a dry spell though?
