[Closed] anyone ridden both the older singular swifts and the newer model ?

wondered how they compare ..I've heard the newer fork is not so compliant as beforeย  due to eu regs and the touring versionย  fork isย  even harsher albeit better than many others. I'd be interested in what people think .

I thought those CEN regulations for forks came out almost a decade ago?

Interested in this. I have a current model Swift currently fitted with a carbon fork but will probably fit a Swift fork when this needs replacing. I wasn't aware that currently forks were meant to be less compliant (I'd need a 470 a-c).

I remember putting a carbon fork on my Swift and then replacing it with the steel one after a few weeks. The original fork was just perfect on rooty fast stuff IMO.

Yes ..I think if my memory serves me correctly i contacted Sam and he told me the newer model fork is more heavily built so a little less compliant .I like the 29+ swift touring version but that again is apparently even more rigid albeit may well still be a good ride. I'd like to hear from someone who has ridden both.
