Apologies if it is genuine (but following the recent ebay stolen Slopestyle listing it's gotta be worth a post). I can't believe anyone would spend that much on a bike and not know its real model name.

I'm not sure your average thief would know it was 'works colour'. Or think to mention the braided hoses. But you never know.

He knows it's XT Shadow, but doesn't know it's called a derailleur...

They arnt braided they are braideb.

Im sure he would have looked the bike up online and found that it is the works finish it would take all of two minutes to type in intense bikes to google and look at a couple of pics. In fact it took me less than 30 seconds just to see if there was a pic on there that says its the works finish.

And every twocer that reads max power knows what braided brakes are anyway.

That's not an Intense Tracer, it's an Intense Tracker. Completely different bike.

Just spoken to the local Intense dealer and they've only sold three or four Tracers to date, with none in a raw finish. Doesn't mean it didn't come from outside the area though.

Had an email from Box who remembers the guy (he's barely just bought the bike in fact). So no lynching today, I'm afraid. ๐Ÿ˜‰
