Saw some kids at the Skelf park tonight on bikes that didn't "fit" them (the hardtail was way too big for him to be fair).
A green Santa Cruz hardtail (not sure of model as not too up to Santa Cruz', but had a pretty chunky tyre on the front - 2.6" maybe. Looked like a medium sized frame.) Also a red Canyon full sus - I think it was an aluminium Spectral.
I couldn't be sure they didn't belong to the kids, but there were quite a few of them around so called it in to 101.
Anyway, if you've lost one of those bikes the cops might have them now or if the kids had scarpered, they're still cruising around on them. If you let me know your phone number I can let you know if I see them at the park again.
A lot of kids out on their dads bikes just now . I saw a wee lad down in Prestonpans on a top of the range vitus which was his old mans. Also my son used to regularly ride my bikes when I was at work I only new this as I saw his mates instagram of him hitting the big Kicker at carberry as no one else would. Still your right to check on here as you never know.
Funny but in the Pans it's usually dodgy adults riding kids bikes lol.
Not sure I'd have called the cops about 2 kids on big bikes. My grandsons has been knicking shots of my Orange 5 and it's much too big for him. Doesn't stop him wheelying the length of the Pans though.
There were about 10 kids in the bike park, which is closed cos of too many kids hanging around and not keeping their distance
