I changed the spring and lost 1 ball bearing, not sure this matters - but i presume it does - does anyone know what size they are?

In the u-turn? You can just carry on with one less, space them out equally and go for it. They're only there to give the u-turn its "click" and to give it some resistance to movement so unless it gives you obvious problems- fork winding down- it's not a worry

Other u-turns use 3/32". So I'd guess the same for yours.

ok cool - il order some off ebay, just incase i manage to get hold of a firm spring and lose the rest ๐
