i would like to publicly apologise to Ed who may still be waiting for the marzocchi air adapter that i agreed to send him sometime last week.
despite leaving clear instructions, the package didnt leave my out-tray! I found it the other day and took it to the post office first class (shoulda got there yesterday)

i feel particularly guilty that i didnt take more care over my part of the transaction as i asked Ed to donate something to charity.

I sent cash in a padded reused CRC envelope as I said I was (chancing it but Im lazy). It could still be in your system today.

Hora - You said you would post it via recorded delivery but you have still not given me the tracking detials. We agreed to the deal 3 weeks ago and you seem very laxed about when you posted it. I would have expected it within 3-10 days not 21. If I buy something I normally pay within 1 min to 2 days max! I know royal mail are bad at times but not 3 weeks. In this time I have had payment for 13 items all posted out, done and dusted. If your going to buy something it is polite to pay for it asap. Im not a shop holding stock waiting for customers!!!

To summarise on the thread. I'm glad I have not bought nothing from IVH and Hora is crap at selling and buying things.

Headfirst - IWH took money from people but never sent the goods, used fake postal recipts as proof of posting - one chap claims to have got his stuff and says he even got more than he paid for. But hes gone quite now and failed to post photo evidence for us to see - seems he was IWH himself trying to regain some reputation. One chap claims to have got his money back, but had to pay IWH a visit. Oh, and it seems Hora is not what he seems. We await group action / police action / vigilante retribution.

UPDATE on the shock:

I've just had half an hour on the phone with Balfa. ... turns out that going on the air can's serial number it is indeed most likely about 18 months old, not new.

Also it turns out that the coil shock with Ti spring would be better suited to my kind of riding and is approx the same weight as the air can.

As such I'm not really any better off, although I'm not worse off either.

It also turns out that the air can on a FOES 4X is tuned totally different to that on the FXR (despite being same size) so I've still got to stump up £100 to get it working properly... and also have a spare steel coil shock tuned for someone at 240lbs that despite being worth £400 will be virtually impossible to sell...

So.. no, I've still been fibbed too haven't I, despite not being ripped off as such..

Oddly (very oddly) I for some reason still don't think he meant to scam anyone but tried to fib his way out of a mess

I really don't think any of the people involved are going to stoop as low as vigilante retribution or similair as speaking to them shows they are normal law abiding chaps like myself.
The only way which this will move on is if everyone clubs together and gives all their info from day 1 regarding the sales, refunds, non postage etc which as I understand is now in motion.
PK-Ripper have emailed you mate let me know what you want to do as having personally received a full refund via cash from a personal visit I still feel somewhat compelled to stay with this and help others that havn't been so lucky.

As you may know I got my money back from VISA (NOT HAMISH), so will not personally be chasing Hamish for the money. As he sent a PM to another poster on the BM site implying that I was ripping him off, I spoke to my solicitor to see if Hamish's solicitor ever got in contact. He never did. She suggested I send all the info I have to VISA and PayPal and let them progress it, so that is what I am doing. However, I have been contacetd by Ant on this forum, sorry don't know his login name, and have supplied him with basic info. If anyone else is taking further action and needs further evidence of Hamish's activities, you can contact me via the BM site.
