Hi,

I am looking to purchase a xxs yeti asr frame but I am having difficulty finding a retailer or friends who has a built bike/frame that small which i can try.

By any chance does someone in the London, Surrey or Glasgow have one i can sit on and see how it fits?

Many thanks.

Is this the one with the shock mounted above the top tube?

Hi Kipcow, am not sure that XXS is available in the 2010 range...if you are ever up in the Yorkshire Dales you can take a look at my XS. If you want to ask questions just ask here or drop me an email.

Didn't realize they did one that small. My mates selling his 09 575 soon and that's an XS and it'll be hard shfit I guess because of it's size.

Hi,

Thank you for all your replies, i currently ride a 14" Kona and was advised that the XXS might be a good fit hence i was looking to try and see how that translates to an XXS yeti.

Domino, would you mind if i ask how tall you are?

Hi Hadge,

Although i was not considering a bike with that much travel would you have a rough idea how much you friend might think about selling it for?

Many thanks.

Hi Kipcow - i'm 5'3". Previously rode a 15" Rocky Mountain ETS-X70 and a 14" Gary Fisher Marlin hardtail.

When looking at the Yeti at a demo day I spoke to Stu (who is the UK yeti rep) - he was really helpful re sizing. The Carbon ASR goes as far as a Small. The Alloy as far as XS. They are ever so slightly different sizes between the small alloy and carbon version. I tried the small for size at a demo day and compared with my Rocky Mountain.

I think the bike could easily suit someone a bit shorter than me too - I don't feel stretched out and the standover is plenty.
