I need a smaller MRP Blingring, currently 36T but need to go 32T, out of stock everywhere,
thinking about modelling one up in Solidworks or Inventor (my day job) and firing it off to a couple of works suppliers to see if they will machine it,
any tips? which grade of aluminium should I asked for? also what tooth angle, radius? before I trawl through a load of old uni notes
cheers
That seems to be a very time consuming and expensive option than getting one ordered in as most places seem to be able to order them.
Have you tried TA rings?
Goldtec in Stoke can do it
Highpath used to do it. I had a ring made there a few years ago, it wasn't cheap tho...
Have a look what absoluteblack do...
I have a 94bcd chainring of theirs. Top quality stuff and very helpful too
