[Closed] Anyone got a non-Pushloc BlackBox damper they want to swap for one with Pushloc?

I've got a Blackbox damper with the Pushloc remote lever that I would prefer to have set up without the remote to keep my bars tidy and because I don't really use the remote.

Has anyone got a non-Pushloc damper that they'd like to swap? You'd get the damper cartridge and all the pushloc bits.

Guess it would be easiest in or around Sheffield/Hope Valley.

Do you need to swap the whole damper assembly? Cos on other Rebas, you just unhook a spring in the Motion control thingy, and it stops the adjuster springing back. Then you can swap just the top dial bit. There's a PoddyGuide™ online somewhere I'm sure...

The Blackbox dampers are built differently to the other dampers and are riveted together rather than just screwing together. Means you can't get at the spring without drilling out the rivets which is something I'd prefer to not have to do hence offering the swap first.

For future reference, the blackbox dampers can be disassembled in the same way as the moco ones. Take the whole unit out the fork, then turn the damper clockwise (left handed thread) to unscrew it from its topcap. Then the pushloc spring can be easily removed. No need to faff around unhooking it etc.

Really? I thought the top cap is riveted on so won't just unscrew.
