I know Gore describe the Xenon Active Shell as windproof and showerproof - just wondering if anyone has any experience of what it's like in the rain?

I've got one, it's pretty good in a shower for maybe upto an hour or so but in really heavy rain or if you're out for several hours then water starts to get in. On the plus side it's way more breathable than a full gore text waterproof and a lot lighter.
I tend not to wear it if it's proper wet as I've got the Oxygen gore text jacket but I really like it for changeable conditions, packs really small if you need to put it in your jersey pocket and you don't seem to overheat in it like a full shell jacket.
I regret getting the white/black one as the fabric seems to stain quite easily but no other complaints.
