new commutes gonna be 6 or 11miles downhill on the road followed by a stint on the train and a mile at the other end. and the inverse on return
Would this be a good starter folding bike you reckon ? i realise its not great BUT its 250 quid and would be purely as a tester for a while before i decide if the train is going to work for me (it didnt last time) before i commite to a better bike or if im gonna get a motorcycle ...
another option is to ride to the station - leave my bike and run the mile to work - then shower and get changed. Im REALLY not keen on leaving my bike at the station though - not that i think itll get stolen but more vandalised -
