I've had a Truvativ Elita crank and GXP bb on the road bike for a couple of months and just cannot seem to cure the creaking that started when I fitted them.
Everything is greased where it should be, and I used a torque wrench (seriously!) on the crank bolt but it seems that there's still an irritating creak when putting the power down when seated. Its almost a cross between a creak and a rattle but having checked everything, I don't think anything is loose. I can't replicate the creak by leaning on the bike stationary so I've ruled out a loose saddle or seatpost.
I've read GXP have floating bearings, has anyone else had problems with them?
