just got back from 6 hours of gentle up the canal type ride and mrs mattp laughed when she saw me!!!! when i asked her why she was laughing she said look in the mirror and my face and head is red as beetroot. gald i didn't wear a helmut today otherwise i would look even more ridiculous.

will post a pic if anyone else does..

yup

annoyingly it wasnt from riding though...it was from fencing the garden 🙁

Nope - amazingly we managed to ride past a chemist on the way out and have the sense to get suncream!

First year ever I have managed not to get burnt to a crisp on the first decent day. I must be getting wiser in my old age afterall....

i thought it was ash stains but it hasn't washed off and is feeling a bit hot and glowy, so must be the sun....once again i am sporting a silly cyclist's tan marks
